ART PIECES FOR HENNESSY

I was invited by Hennessy to create three artworks.

For the first piece, I designed weavings combining paper and glass rods to evoke the way eaux-de-vie intertwine to form the different ranges of cognac.

These artworks are installed in the Paradis suite at the St. Regis hotel in Aspen. That is why I created a piece representing the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I used a complex technique of incising the paper’s surface to create reliefs reminiscent of the rocks.

Finally, the last piece evokes the color and taste of cognac, a whirlwind of flavor and light.
